David and John taught a course in 1995 called “Discovering Insect Species”. We had nine undergrads take the course, so there were 11 of us in total. We went out around Oregon to see what we could discover about the subgenus Trepanedoris of the genus Bembidion. We called ourselves The Trepaneleven. In the course, we discovered two new species of that subgenus. You can buy the shirt here.
